  13.         Note to "for-profit" disk vendors:

  15.         Our intent is to make sure your customers know that they're
  16.         purchasing your distribution services rather than the software
  17.         itself.
  18.  
  19.         This file provides information for shareware distributors, disk
  20.         vendors, and user groups who wish to distribute our products.
  21.  
  22.         BBS sysops who wish to distribute the VERTEX Library should refer
  23.         to SYSOP.TXT for complete information relating to them.
  24.         Individual and company users should refer to LICENSE.TXT and
  25.         REGISTER.TXT for information.
  26.  
  27.         For sample descriptions of the VERTEX library suitable for vendor
  28.         catalogs and BBS file listings, please see FILES.TXT.

  30.         Limited Distribution License:

  32.         W.A. Steinert, VERTEX Enterprises encourages you to copy and
  33.         distribute the unregistered version of the VERTEX Library subject
  34.         to the following restrictions:

  36.         The VERTEX CLIPPER Library package is defined as containing all
  37.         the material listed in the FILES.TXT text file.  If any files
  38.         listed in the FILES.TXT text file, or the FILES.TXT file itself,
  39.         are missing, then the package is not complete and distribution is
  40.         forbidden.  Please contact us to obtain a complete package
  41.         suitable for distribution.

  43.         The VERTEX Library package - including all related program files
  44.         and documentation files - CANNOT be modified in any way (other
  45.         than that mentioned in the following paragraph) and must be
  46.         distributed as a complete package, without exception.

  48.         Small additions to the package, such as the introductory or
  49.         installation batch files used by many shareware disk vendors, are
  50.         acceptable.

  52.         You may charge a distribution fee for the package, but you must
  53.         not represent in any way that you are selling the software itself.

  55.         You may not list any of our products in advertisements, catalogs,
  56.         or other literature which describe our products as "free",
  57.         "cheap", or "public domain".

  59.         The PRINTED documentation may not be reproduced in whole or in
  60.         part, using any means, without the prior written permission of
  61.         W.A. Steinert.  In other words, the disk-based documentation may
  62.         not be distributed in PRINTED (hardcopy) form.

  64.         W.A. Steinert, VERTEX Enterprises prohibits the distribution of
  65.         outdated versions of our products without written permission.  If
  66.         the version you have is over twelve (12) months old, please
  67.         contact us to ensure that you have the most current version.  This
  68.         version was released in September, 1992.

  70.         You shall not use, copy, rent, lease, sell, modify, decompile,
  71.         disassemble, otherwise reverse engineer, or transfer the licensed
  72.         program except as provided in this agreement.  Any such
  73.         unauthorized use shall result in immediate and automatic
  74.         termination of this license.

  77.         permission from any vendor to distribute our products at any time
  78.         and for any reason.

  80.         All rights not expressly granted here are reserved by W.A.
